Grape: Cabernet Franc 100%

 

This crù comes from a parcel named Poveriano, located in the provence of Pesaro. This vineyard as an altitude of 150 mt with south-west exposure. Soil contains 40% of clay, sand and calcareous it's also present in the entire vineyard.

 Vines are 15 years old and they are surranded by Mediterranean bushes.

Grapes are carefully select and harvest in the third week of September, after were de-stemmed and softly pressed. Fermentation starts into stainless steel fermenters (50hl) with a frequent "delastage" to help to extract color.

Malolattic fermentation for about 14 months in new french oak barrels (Alliers e Troncais).

Once is bottled will be aged for 6 months before to be relase.

Poveriano wine match perfectly beef and game (deer, hare, wild boar) dishes, also perfect for aged cheeses like Pecorino.
