Grape: Nero d'Avola 100%


Lorlando is produced in Mazara del Vallo (Trapani), northwestern of Sicily. 

Vineyards are located at 100-150 mt with medium texture soil rich of stones and pebbles with a good mineral endowment.

Harvest it's usually from the mid to the end of August, thanks to the insular-mediterranean with mild winters and breezy summers.

After the grapes are been picked by hands, the vinification starts with soft pressing and destemming from 10 up to 15 days, depending on the vintage.

The extraction takes place through traditional pumpings.

Fermentation temperature 26°C.

After malolactic fermentation 3/4 months in stainless steel tanks, then in bottle for other 3/4 months.

Color is intense ruby red with purple hues, with intense aromas of ripe red fruit.

At the palate has a good balance with soft tannins.

Excellent with medium-aged cheesee and roasted meat with potatoes
