Grape: Kerner 100%
Thanks to the high altitude (750mt) the vines are developing a great balance between freshness and fruit. The vines are 20 years old which makes a production per hectare of 70 quintals.
In 2020 vintage, the grapes were harvested (always manually in small wooden basket) at the beginning untill mid september, after been crushed the fermentation starts in stainless steel.
Strasserhof's Kerner is storeged for 7 months in stainless steel and lately bottled in April 2021.
At the taste, yellow fruit like peach and ananas, with a beautifull hint of elderflower.
This aromatic, fruity - full body Kerner is relatively acidic, with a mineral freshness who gives to this wine a juicy and long lasting.
