Grape: Sangiovese 
 
Made from only Sangiovese and aged in barriques for 20 months, the wine has a concentrated, dark-ruby color. In the bouquet are light spicy scents of turmeric and cinnamon which do not interfere with the fruit component of cherry and blackberry nor with the floral scents, while a hint of tobacco is a reminder of the wine’s age. The tannins are nicely present in the mouthfeel and do not interfere, while the finish is very persistent.
