Grape Variety: Nerello Mascalese
Davanti Casa is an elegant red from North-East crater of Etna Volcano, obtained from Nerello Mascalese grapes who comes from the oldest centenary vineyard (80-100 years old).
Spontaneous fermentation with 30% whole bunches, only with manual pressing down. Aging in barriques for 12 months, then refinement in the bottle for at least 10 months.
Pairs well with important grilled meats, stewed game, braised and stewed meats and aged cheeses. Excellent cold served with swordfish and red tuna.
Davanti Casa is a limited production with the best grapes from the centenary vineyard; complex and intense with notes of red fruit, ash and with a particularly tasty and elegant tannin.
The imprint of the Etnean territory in the old vineyard of Feudo Pignatone.
