Grape: Pinot Noir
From a 0.25-hectare parcel of organically farmed estate vines in the lieu-dit of Grand Picou in the village of St. Agnan in the Vallée de la Marne. The clusters were harvested by hand and destemmed; the berries were spontaneously fermented in barrel with a two-week maceration and very gentle punchdowns.
The wine was aged on its fine lees in Burgundy barrels for 27 months and bottled without fining or filtering and minimal sulfur.
Only 883 bottles made.
