Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon 60%, Cabernet Franc 30%, Merlot 10%


BolgheriSuperiore originates from care and attention to details. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot in percentages that may vary depending on the vintage.

Soil is clay-sandy composition, with stones.

Harvest is done manually, in boxes containing each one maximum 15 kg of grapes. Grapes are cooled before vinification.

After de-stemming and soft crushing, each variety separating starts maceration and alcoholic fermentation for approximately 20days at a temperature not exceeding 28°C. Following this, skins are soft pressed, and the wine is decanted into barrels for malolactic fermentation.

Ageing is done by 50% new French fine oak barriques and 50% used barriques for 16 months at temperature and umidity controlled and a further 12 months in bottle before commercializing.
